Bentolicious #092
I made today's bento and hope I can start a new week with a happy heart. And hope the same for all of you. I knew that I just made a few posting in the last 2 weeks. Hope this week I can make full posting from Monday to Friday. I just need to distract myself from the hot weather that we are having here. Standing in the stuffy kitchen is really not my favorite - so I am looking forward to our new kitchen :). Today's two little boys on the top of the shiso leaf were made from quail eggs and decorated with carrot, nori, pink kamaboko, and brussel sprout.

Inside the box : rice, quail eggs, red-orange kamaboko, brussel sprouts, minced beef cooked with corn & fried shallot, and broccoli.

Hi Lia! I hope you can send some of the hot weather here; I'll be glad to take it from you :)
Your cute bento doesn't suffer from the weather, it's so dear. I think I have this lunch box with the separate container, right?
Looks cute and yummy; hope you enjoy a great, happy week too!

They are super adorable, Lia. You are so talented. Do you have a book? You should write one. :)

@SIG : Thanks a lot for your nice words! I think I'm just enjoying blogging right now hehehe :) Making a book is way too advance for me, I'm still learning from the others.

What cute little boys! Your bentos are always so happy.

Sorry it's so hot there...we're waiting for our annual Texas torturing heat so I understand how you feel!

Unbelievable! You used quail eggs to form little boys? You have such a creative mind! They look too cute to eat...

Beautiful, fresh and so sweet! Really, your bentos brighten my day each time I see them! I love the expression "a happy heart"--there is so much wisdom in those words. Thank you for this and another lovely bento to explore and enjoy :)PS hope it cools down soon...

Thank you Lia!! I am starting with a happy heart, so thankful for everything I have been given today. I love the shiso leaf! Have a great day!

How cute! This bento is sure to start the week out right!

Hope things cool off for you. We had a gorgeous weekend and starting a nice week. I love the heat, and humidity (I know....everyone says I'm weird) so it's a good reason to live in Florida. Our rainy season is coming up.

Love your cute bento! and the two quail egg boys! It made me smile! What do you ususally do with shiso leaves?

Thanks for the positive vibe you are sending out with this bento Lia! Pretty and happy with a positive attitude! Your bento was one of the first that I saw this morning and a combination of other factors too set me off to have a very good and productive day - I think you are sending subliminal messages! :D Keep up the lovely work! (And get air conditioning! :D)

@Kuusou : Thanks a lot Kuusou! hehehe ... we will have dry season until July, so just try not to think about it from now on :)

@Lyndsey : Thanks a lot Lyndsey! Happy to hear that you had a great weekend. Our rainy season will start on July so looking forward to it. We didn't do much with shiso leaf here except to wrap BBQ meat and just eat it like that, raw :)

@Asfora : Thanks a lot Asfora for your nice comment as usual. Very sweet of you. We do have AC on almost every room except for kitchen. But I don't want to use them to much, it just not very healthy ... but at night we have to use it otherwise we can't sleep well :)

Wow! How do you do these kind of bentos? Done with such cuteness & perfection. I think your photography is ace!

@Chantale : Thanks a lot Chantale for your very sweet comment! I just learn from my bento book and other great bento makers ... I'm not sure how I do it but I think I just love making bento and the idea just come to my head hehehe ... :D
